Mohammed Alian

RESEARCH & POLICY INTERN

Mohammed is finishing a Bachelor's degree in Political Sciences and International Relations at Istanbul Sehir University. He is currently working as a consultant at IST Research in Virginia. Previously, he supported the data analysis of documentations of human rights violations in Syria at the International Research and Education Board (IREX) in DC and provided research support as an intern at the Consulate General of Canada in Istanbul. 

At the YPP, Mohammed conducts in-depth research on issues related to international humanitarian law (IHL), human rights, civil rights, and political repression in Yemen. He also maintains the YPP's database on IHL violations, and writes content for the YPP blog.
